Little Pumas is a new way of teaching 4 to 6 year old’s using a martial arts platform. The aspects of Discipline, Courtesy and focus that form the basis of martial arts, are used as a foundation for the Little Puma’s syllabus. They are taught not only martial arts, our classes also involve life skills such as stranger awareness, coordination and memory improvement using our training and grading system, whilst consistently rewarding them for their hard work.
A typical lesson will include a warm up, some line work, pad work, technique, exercise and we always finish with a game! Lesson’s are 30 minutes each, twice a week. We find this system generates the best results during their training.
Grading is every 3 months. The little PUMA’s have a unique belt system, that if they keep training, they can reach LP black belt by the time they are ready to join the junior class, and start either the full Taekwon-do or kickboxing syllabus as a junior.
